Linda Lancaster, 69, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Emmett Ray Lancaster and Betty Jane Lancaster.
Linda retired from Kennametal where she worked in production. She enjoyed watching QVC and HSN and loved reading books, collecting bears and antiques.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Lynn Boster and Carol Ann Pritchard.
Those left to cherish her memory include her uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and her best friend, Jill Price.
A service to honor the life of Linda Lancaster will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 26, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday. The graveside service and committal will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 27, at Happy Valley Memorial Park, Johnson City. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Sunday. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter, 135 Sycamore Shoals Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
