County Clerk Mary Gouge announces candidacy

Mary Gouge, County Clerk for Carter County, has announced her candidacy for re-election in the May 3 Republican Primary. “It has been my pleasure to work for the people of Carter County and I would be honored to continue to serve as their Clerk.” She and her staff strive to keep the office friendly and efficient, working with Business Information Systems to bring the latest, up-to-date system in the state of Tennessee to Carter County. She is a member of the County Clerk’s Association and County Officials Association of Tennessee. She is a member of Sims Hill Christian Church. Ms. Gouge has one daughter, Sherrie Gouge. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. till noon. Your vote and support is appreciated.
