Daily vehicles pass through the streets of downtown Elizabethton without even taking a moment to stop and drop by the many stores and places that the city has to offer.
From such delights as a tasty cup of coffee to even picking up some fresh dry-roasted coffee beans to fix at home, many of the opportunities that are offered in downtown are simply missed as there is more than just meets the eye in passing.
So the next time you are in downtown, plan on spending a couple of hours and drop by some of the stores or take a look at the Veterans Memorial and Wall of Honor. One might just learn something about our little town that you didn’t know.
