Shirley Ann Lyons, 80, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2022, at her residence. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church in Elizabethton.
Shirley was born on August 24, 1941 to John and Rebecca Pearl Souder of Carter County. She spent most of her career in the medical field as a LPN until retirement from the Home Health community.
Shirley was passionate about her crafts of sewing, crocheting, needlepoint and jewelry design. She loved sharing her creations with everyone and often. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arron, and her sister, Jeryldean.
She is survived by her brother, Doug (Chrissy) Souder; daughters, Felecia (David) Livingston and Kelly (Wayne) Bryan; grandchildren, Kayla Delgado, Kaycee Sturgill, Tyler Livingston and Austin Livingston; great-grandchildren, Genesis Delgado, Xoey and Ala Multidore, Travis “Trey” Livingston, Serenity Livingston and Jackson Wright; and many cherished family members.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 10, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com
