Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

To the Editor:
Hey baseball fans — or if you’re like me — used to be baseball fans. Is anyone besides myself sick and tired of a bunch of already over-paid, stingy, greedy, whining, overgrown cry babies stopping America’s game because they want more?
Through the years I have watched as the game that I ate, slept, and drank as a youngster and truly loved has had his heart torn out because of man’s unquenchable thirst for more, more, and more. Just when is enough enough? If the baseball playing jerks of today aren’t happy chasing a ball around for six months a year and getting paid millions for doing it, then why don’t they grab one of these $20,000 a year jobs and see what they think of that?
Baseball players need to be reminded that they have it made.
All baseball fans throughout the United States should be the ones on strike. If everyone would refuse to go and watch and support the players for the entire 2022 season, it may teach the players a lesson. Empty stadiums won’t pay their high dollar salaries. Just refuse to support MLB for one full season and we’ll all watch their empire crumble.
