New cooler dedicated at ARM

Assistance and Resource Ministries, Inc. (ARM), 714 West C St., Elizabethton, dedicated its newly acquired cooler on Friday, March 11. ARM has needed additional refrigeration space for some time and through the generous sharing of the Carter County Commission, a Walmart community grant, and an anonymous benefactor, this project has come to reality. Pictured are ARM staff, board members, volunteers, and Carter County commissioners. ARM continues to serve qualifying families in Carter County with food and clothing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., closing for lunch from 12:15-1:30 p.m.
