Calvin James Tolley, 78, of Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. He was born in Baltimore, Md., to the late Lawrence Tolley and Pansy Miller.
Calvin was an employee with the City of Elizabethton and was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Carolyn Glen of Nevada; three grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Sheets of Elizabethton. Special friends and neighbors also survive.
A graveside service to honor the life of Calvin James Tolley will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in the Tolley Cemetery, Hampton, Tenn. An open visitation will be held between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday, prior to the graveside service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
