Ella Mae Clawson Dugger, 82, Butler, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at The Waters of Roan Mountain.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late John and Maude Clawson.
Ella loved her grandkids and working in her yard and flowers. She was a member of Poga Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Mike Dugger; two sisters, Wilma Guy and Evelyn Stanton; and a brother, Sherrill Clawson.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Dewey Dugger; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Angela Dugger, of the home; four grandchildren, Denette Miller, Kayla Dugger and friend Tim Manning, Cassie Craft and husband Dylan and Matthew Dugger; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at the Poga Church of Christ with Mr. Dean Estep, minister, officiating. Music will be provided by the congregation. Interment will follow in the Poga Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
