Tammy M. Stockton Blevins, 55, of Roan Mountain, Tenn., passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Mountain City, Tenn., to the late Robert Leroy Stockton and LouElla Wilson Stockton.
Tammy was a 1985 graduate of Hampton High School and later worked in nursing as a CNA. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith. Tammy enjoyed watching movies, fishing and loved spending time with her nieces, nephews and her great-niece, Ella Tolley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Reverend Fred and Gertrude Wilson; her paternal grandparents, Claude and Mary Stockton; and several cousins.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Diana Tolley, of the home; nephew, Robert Tolley (Hope) of Roan Mountain; niece, Rebekah Thompson (Ryan) of Bristol, Va.; special great-niece, Ella Hope Tolley of Roan Mountain; several special cousins; special friend, Lee Murray Ward of Hampton; and her special fur baby, “Bristol,” of the home.
A graveside service to honor the life of Tammy M. Stockton Blevins will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in the Johnson Roanview Cemetery with Dr. Alan King officiating. Active pallbearers are Robert Tolley, David Tolley, Ryan Thompson and Chris McKinney. Honorary pallbearers will be John Bennett, Curtis Cannon, Fred Montgomery and Roger Wilson. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, at 1:15 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
