Ms. Joda Ollis was honored by the Waters of Roan Highlands with a tea on her 107th birthday. Some of her closest friends at the facility were able to attend and celebrate with her. Ms. Ollis was 107 years old on Sunday, April 10. Joda is president of the Resident Council and is actively involved with activities on a daily basis. She enjoys going to church, reading her Bible, Bingo, socials, and visiting with her family and friends. Rebecca Birchfield, Activities Director at the Waters of Roan Highlands, described Joda as “an amazing woman.” Joda said, “she owes her long life to God and without him she wouldn’t be here.”
