Lillian Ruth LeForge, 71, of Hampton, Tenn., passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Walter Wilson and Marie Miller Wilson.
Lillian retired from Alemite Corporation and also worked for North American Rayon Corporation. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Elizabethton Moose Lodge #360. Lillian enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Cheryl McNeil, Georgie Cole and Betty Oliver.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Gary LeForge, of the home; son, Gregory Miller of Hampton; two daughters, Jan Pierce and Mike Martin and Jackie Whitson and Tim Treadway, all of Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Justin Whitson, Tyler Whitson, Jonna Heilmiller, Amber Harrison and Cassie Harrell; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack Wilson, Elizabethton; and three sisters, Helen Markland, Roan Mountain, Elsie Evans and Brenda Carr, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Lillian Ruth LeForge will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 23, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Friends may call or visit Lillian’s daughter, Jackie Whitson, 232 Muddy Branch Road, Elizabethton, at anytime.
