Roy William Clark

Roy William Clark, 89, Butler, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born September 11, 1932 in Johnson County to the late Clarence G. and Chelsie Fletcher Clark.
Roy was a logger and farmer. He loved horseback riding.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Doris Kyte Clark, who passed away November 15, 2009; two step-sons, Billy and David Dugger; three brothers, R.J., Coy and Junior Clark; and a sister, Janice Dugger.
Survivors include his children, Lori Reece and husband Greg, Watauga, Clarence “Bo” Clark, Butler, and Roy Clark Jr. and wife Nancy of Missouri; seven grandchildren, Rhenda Kelly, Cristy Taylor, Matthew Clark, Charley Leonard, Jason Clark, Jodi Dugger and Julie Dugger; 10 great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Shelly Fair; and a sister-in-law, Bonita Clark.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the Clark Family Cemetery with the Rev. Harvey White officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Friends will assemble at the cemetery at 12:50 p.m. Thursday. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
