Elizabethton Elks Lodge in partnership with Roan Mountain State Park will be holding its annual Youth Trout Tournament. The event will be this Saturday, May 7, at Roan Mountain State Park starting at 9 a.m. This event is the longest running and most participated in children’s event the Elks Lodge holds in the state of Tennessee. It’s a non-profit Drug Awareness Community event. There are three fishing age groups for kids from 4-14. Kids will be fishing from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and awards given out around 3 p.m.
