JOHNSON CITY — Mila Vox, Inc. (1000 voices) today announced the sale of tickets for Some Enchanted Evening, a Viennese-style ball to benefit Coalition for Kids (C4K), a local ministry that provides safe space, meals, academic tutoring, character-building and leadership training for at-risk area children through afterschool programs.

Gala proceeds will support the organization’s campaign to acquire new vehicles for safe transport of students from area schools to C4K’s Johnson City campus.

The unique event, bedecked with trimmings of a traditional Austrian ball, features live orchestra music, waltzing, polka, glorious confections and stellar opera & ballet performances by regional artists. Ballroom-dancing lessons will be offered in the weeks prior to the gala.

“Bottom line — if it wasn’t for community standing together for change, nothing would ever get accomplished,” says Executive Director, Randy Hensley. “If we weren’t picking kids up and taking kids home, they wouldn’t be here. Period. We have a significant need to upgrade our fleet to safely get these kids from school to our campus and from our campus back home. I can’t think of a better way to provide for these kids than to give them access to resources that can change their lives.

“We’re grateful to be partnering with Mila Vox on this creative project.”
