As a part of Covered Bridge Jams again this year, the Elizabethton Parks & Recreation will host a special Bluegrass event on June 11 called “Covered Bridge Bluegrass Jamboree.”
The night will feature Bluegrass Superstars Russell Moore & III Tyme Out. The group has made many appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and won many IMBA Awards, including seven IMBA Vocal Group of the Year Awards and six Male Vocalist of the Year Awards and numerous other accolades. This group has solidified its place as one of the hottest groups in Bluegrass for over 30 years.
The Trinity Valley Travelers, a local Bluegrass band and crowd pleaser, will also perform.
“We are extremely excited about this year’s Bluegrass Jamboree and hope that everyone in the community and those in our surrounding areas will come out and enjoy some awesome music in a beautiful setting. We are truly delighted to bring this special musical event that showcases an internationally known artist, Russell Moore & III Tyme Out, and the beauty of our historic Covered Bridge Park and downtown Elizabethton,” David Nanney, Elizabethton P&R Recreation Manager, said.
The Covered Bridge Bluegrass Jamboree is free to the public and will begin at 5 p.m.
