The Roan Mountain Spring Concert Series 2022 will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Anderson Community Park (19E behind the post office). Performing some great country music will be Randy and the Lugnuts, an eclectic blend of amazing popular tunes we like to call Americana, at its best. Pack a snack, bring a lawn chair, spread a blanket and come enjoy an evening on the Roan.
Lyons Cemetery, 1259 Dry Creek Road, Elizabethton, will be holding their annual Decoration Day at 2 p.m. The Rev. Danny Osborne will be speaker for the occasion. There will be special singing and congregational singing as well. Please join us as we pay tribute to our loved ones that have gone on before us. Take this time to reflect on their lives and the memories God has blessed us with.
The Annual Virgil and Minnie Harmon Family Reunion will be held beginning at noon at the home of Saundra Grindstaff, 455 Main St., Butler.
