The Rocky Mount State Historic Site in Piney Flats will host its annual American Heritage Festival on June 11 and 12. During this two-day event, Rocky Mount will hold one of the largest historical events covering the Revolutionary War to present day. Join historic reenactors at our Historic Site as they gather to share their knowledge and educate the public.
Come experience hundreds of Living History reenactors and displays, live military demonstrations, cannon firings, music from throughout the decades, blacksmith forging, sheep wool processing, a historical church service, and children’s entertainment. Guests will be able to tour the historic homestead where some of Tennessee’s earliest frontiersmen and women resided and learn about life in the Southwest Territory. Bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds or visit one of the food trucks that will be set up throughout the day.
