Senator Rusty Crowe earns 92% NFIB Small Business Voting Record

NASHVILLE — The state office of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) announced today that State Senator Rusty Crowe (R—Johnson City) achieved a 92% NFIB voting record in the 2021-22 session of the General Assembly.

Senator Crowe is also a past recipient of NFIB’s Guardian of Small Business award, the most prestigious honor that the organization bestows on legislators in recognition of their efforts to support small business. It is reserved for lawmakers who vote consistently with small businesses on key issues identified by small business owners.

For almost 80 years, NFIB has been the voice of small business, advocating on behalf of America’s small and independent business owners, both in Washington, D.C., and in all 50 state capitals. NFIB is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and member-driven. Since their founding in 1943, NFIB has been exclusively dedicated to small and independent businesses and remains so today.

Crowe’s very positive 92% voting record for Tennessee businesses, saying: “The 2021-22 Voting Record  includes 12 key votes in both chambers of the legislature on issues important to small businesses, including tax, labor, and regulatory reforms. Tennessee remains a very pro-small business state for many reasons. Legislators understand the challenges many of our members face in these difficult times with soaring inflation, supply chain disruptions, and significant workforce shortages.”
