On June 27, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Doris Kindle of Johnson City and charged her with aggravated assault.
At approximately 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a subject threatening someone with a knife. Upon arrival, officers observed a female later identified as Kindle, holding a knife. During the course of the investigation it was found that she threatened the victim and attempted to attack him with the knife.
Kindle was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Kindle is being held on a bond set at $7,500. She appeared in Washington County General Sessions Court on June 28.
