To the Editor:
Following the announcement that children aged six months to four years in the U.S. can now be injected with the COVID vaccine, a group of 78 doctors in the U.K. have written an open letter to that nation’s medical regulatory agency, the Medical and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, setting out comprehensive reasons why this action must not be taken in the U.K. The full letter was published in the Conservative Woman online publication. Two of the many reasons were increasing concerns over long-term vaccine side effect harms and the vast majority of this young age group have already been exposed to COVID repeatedly and have demonstrated effective immunity. There were children given the wrong dose. The Wall Street Journal reported this week that “we don’t know if the vaccines are safe and effective….Vaccinated toddlers (children) in the Pfizer’s (drug) trial were more likely to get severely ill with COVID than those who received a placebo.” This is drug makers’ own words saying that the vaccine effectiveness and safety was unknown for toddlers.
Last month Dr. Debra Birx admitted to U.S. Congress that she doesn’t know whether the U.S. government guessed wrong or lied when it told the U.S. public that COVID vaccines would prevent infection. The truth is the vaccines don’t prevent people from getting the virus. From the beginning of the pandemic outbreak, children were considered safe. The number of children who died from COVID was statistically zero. The number one cause of death for infants in the U.S. is drownings and the leading causes of death for children is automobile accidents. Sadly there are 11 accidental drownings of children per day. Focus on these dangers. Many have been overcome by fear of the coronavirus because they have confused scary (emotion) with dangerous (facts). While coronavirus ranks high on the scary list it doesn’t rank high on the dangerous list especially for children. Higher on the dangerous list are heart disease killing 650,000 and cancer killing 606,000 every year in America. Choose freedom over safety and continue to do what God called you to do such as go to church and tell people about Jesus!
This virus pandemic didn’t take Jesus by surprise as Jesus said in Matthew 24 in the last days before he returns, pestilences (viruses) would come. Jesus said in Matthew 18 that anyone who harms children or turns children from faith in Him will receive severe punishment. The only thing more evil is mentioned in Hebrews 10:29 which is to trample on the Son of God (Jesus) and count the blood of the covenant a common (unholy) thing, by which he was sanctified and having insulted the Spirit of Grace. People are doing this great evil when they say they have to do works in addition to trusting Jesus. Real actual safety, freedom and peace can only be found in Jesus and trusting His finished work and Jesus’ blood covering your sins!
