Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center for the week of August 1-5:
The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments necessary.
Monday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch — Country Style Steak, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m., with Instructor, Shirley Gomillian, $3; Gentle-flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m., with Instructor, Carrie Maggard, $3.
Tuesday: National Coloring Book Day — Please come by the Center to color with us or feel free to pick up some free coloring sheets; Blood Pressure Checks — Freda Banks will be here to provide blood pressure checks for all who need it, 9 a.m.; Lunch — Chicken, Broccoli & Rice Casserole, 11 a.m.; Line Dancing, 12-1 p.m., with Instructor, Sharon Pilk.
Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch — Egg Patty, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m., with Instructor, Shirley Gomillian, $3; Gentle-flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m., with Instructor, Carrie Maggard, $3.
Thursday: Lunch — Turkey Breast, 11 a.m.
Friday: FREE Hearing Screenings, 9-10 a.m. ETSU Audiology students will be at the Center during a presentation and offering free hearing screenings for all; Let’s Play Bingo — Neal Bowes with Oasis Senior Advisors is back to bring prizes and fun to our Bingo games; Lunch — Pizza Casserole, 11 a.m.
REMINDER: Street signs with reflective numbers are still available at the Center for a cost of $5. These are provided at this discount price through our SALT Council. Make sure you can be located in case of an emergency.
