Robert W. “Bob” Cable Jr. passed away on August 14, 2022, at Johnson City Medical Center at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. Cable Sr. and Pansy Wyatt Cable; brothers, Wayne and Charles; sister, Joann Pickel; and his wife of 56 years, Brenda F. Bishop Cable.
Bob was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of Elizabethton High School, Class of 1956.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many special friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 20, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Happy Valley Memorial Park at the Mausoleum of Peace with the funeral starting at 2 p.m. followed by entombment. The Eulogy will be presented by Curt Alexander. The Rev. Ken Bewley will officiate. It was Bob’s wish that there not be any flowers.
