Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center for the week of September 5 – 9:
The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments necessary.
Monday: CLOSED FOR LABOR DAY.
Tuesday:  Blood Pressure checks – Freda Banks will be here providing blood pressure
readings for all who need it at 9 a.m.  FAD Diets Seminar 10 a.m. – Advocate Intergrated Medicine or AIM will be here presenting on fad diets.  Enjoy a presentation and healthy snack.  Lunch – Chicken Pot Pie 11 a.m  Line Dancing 12-1 p.m. with Instructor, Sharon Pilk.
Wednesday:  Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio, Toning, Strength Building 9-10 a.m.
 Lunch – Meatloaf  11 a.m.   Chair Yoga 12:15-1:15 p.m. – Instructor, Shirley Gomillian $3.00.  Gentle-flow Yoga 1:30-2:30 p.m. – Instructor, Carrie Maggard $3.00
Thursday:  Lunch –  Chicken Alfredo 11 a.m.
   Friday:  Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio, Toning, strength building 10 a.m.  Let’s Play BINGO! 10 a.m. Lunch –  Taco Casserole 11 a.m. The Center closes today at 12 noon.
 REMINDER:  Street signs with reflective numbers are still available at the Center for a cost of $5.00 – these are provided at this discount price through our SALT Council.  Make sure you can be located in case of an emergency.
JOB OPPORTUNITY!  The First TN Area Agency on Aging & Disability is hiring an
Options Counselor at the Elizabethton Senior Center.  Preferred Education: LPN, Bachelors in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.  Will consider applicants with a minimum completion of 2 years at an accredited college and minimum of 2 years experience in social work or related field.
