Todd F. Maines, 59, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. Todd was born in Bristol, Tenn., a son of Earl and Phyllis Maines.
Todd was a family man with strong Godly character. He was the rock and foundation of his family and they were his everything. Always the jokester, he was the class clown at school and anyone and everyone he met became his friend. He worked as a truck driver and was a proud United States Navy veteran where he had served as Chaplain’s Assistant.
Todd had served as a pastor at Pinecrest Christian Church for two and a half years and had also co-operated Love Out Loud Ministries for two years. His love for his family and the Lord will forever be cherished and remembered in those he touched with his kindness and grace.
Those left to continue Todd’s legacy include his wonderful wife and love, Carmen Elizabeth Hudson Maines, of the home; his daughter, Sierra Maines of Elizabethton; his parents, Earl and Phyllis Maines of the Bunker Hill Community; his brother, Rocky (Onanong) Maines of the Bunker Hill Community; and his sister, Jill Maines. Also left to cherish his memory is his church family, friends and neighbors.
It was Todd’s wish to be cremated and no formal services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers and donations, the family requests that you witness to someone on Todd’s behalf or introduce them to the Lord or share the gospel with someone.
