Last month Kansas voters rejected an amendment to their state constitution, that would have removed abortion as a right and allowed legislators to decide the state’s laws on abortion. Much of the reason the amendment failed was pro-abortion deception used in Kansas. Pro-abortion workers rather than being truthful about the amendment and what it would do claimed it was a ban on abortion when it wasn’t. It would have allowed the state legislature to put restrictions on abortion. Also in Kansas the pro-abortion workers said passing the amendment would take away constitutional freedom. According to www.wnd.com the pro-life movement needs to be aware of the deception used in Kansas, and the abortion industry making the abortion issue one of “freedom” rather than of every human being’s right to life — to not be unjustly killed. The pro-life movement needs to be ready to confront lies with the truth about what abortion really is: the killing of an innocent and defenseless human being. According to www.christianheadlines.com abortion advocates are also gaslighting which is manipulation to sow doubt and confusion. They gaslight with false claims that doctors in states with abortion restrictions are not allowed to end a pregnancy to even save a mother’s life. Board-certified OB/GYN Ingrid Skop, MD, responds: “This is just false dialogue. Every state that has put abortion restrictions in place has an exemption for a life-threatening condition for the mother.” Donna Harrison, MD another board-certified OB/GYN agrees: “There isn’t a single law in any state that forbids the medical emergency treatment for a pregnant woman or forbids treatment of an ectopic pregnancy. Not one law anywhere.”
It was great to see in the Elizabethton Star online poll that 75 percent said yes to the question, “Should the Supreme court overturn Roe v. Wade.” Theologian Albert Mohler said polls show that the majority of Americans do not favor unrestricted access to abortion which was allowed under Roe and its companion decisions. Only 27 percent of Americans believe abortion should always be legal a Fox News poll found. Americans’ support for Roe and abortion decreased the more they learned about it. Mohler added, “we don’t do morality by polling.” Still, he said, Americans need to understand Roe v. Wade allowed abortion through all nine months of a pregnancy! Hollywood and the media are pro-abortion and don’t care what the majority think. Hollywood studios all rejected the pro-life movie Lifemark that is now at theaters. I recommend Lifemark and like that it’s pro-life and a true story and a timely story because the U.S. Supreme Court is now allowing each state to decide the abortion issue.
In 2022 pro-choice people celebrate 49 years of legalized abortion and pro-lifers mourn the loss of over 60 million unborn babies. Abortion is America’s holocaust that began on January 22, 1973. God sees abortion in America as child sacrifice! Abortion is also child slavery because the child is considered the property of their mother. The good news is God will forgive any sin you have committed including abortion when you believe on Jesus as your only Savior who paid the penalty for all your sins on the cross and arose from the dead. Accept Jesus’ free gift of salvation. Rejecting Jesus is the only unforgivable sin!
Protecting life shouldn’t be a divisive issue. Pro-lifers protested peacefully and legally for 49 years. Being pro-life isn’t just a political position, it’s also the Biblical one. For 49 years there has been no justice and mercy for American unborn or pre-born babies. Sadly, millions of American babies have been butchered over 49 years because, “men and women love their own pleasure more than their own kids.” Sadly, in 2022 Americans care far more about their smartphones than their babies. I saw someone at E.T.S.U. holding a sign this summer that said, “My body, My choice.” The scientific fact is the baby inside your body has different DNA and is alive and is not your body. In other words, “The body inside your body is not your body.” “Humans are valuable before they are viable!” I believe God allowed each state to decide the abortion decision so that he can bring judgment on those states who allow abortion. In the Bible slaves were freed after 49 years and it was called the Jubilee. It’s interesting that the unborn slaves were freed after 49 years of abortion in America at least in some states. Thankfully, Tennessee is one of the 14 states making abortion illegal after Roe was overturned. Only these 14 states can call themselves free states and Christian states because they have made the unborn no longer slaves and no longer the property of their mothers! Jesus is called the Christian’s jubilee and when he raptures us to heaven we will be completely free for eternity!
