Watauga Valley Art League’s Sycamore Shoals 2022 Christmas Art Show and Sale will be held at Sycamore Shoals State Park, 1651 West Elk Ave., Elizabethton. The public is invited to enjoy artwork, music and wreaths. The Watauga Valley Art League Exhibition and Sale is a great opportunity for holiday shopping! Artwork from the Watauga Valley Art League will remain on display through December 4 at Sycamore Shoals State Park.

A Meet-the-Artists Reception for Watauga Valley Art League’s Sycamore Shoals 2022 Christmas Art Show and Sale be held from 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Sycamore Shoals State Park, 1651 West Elk Ave., Elizabethton.

The Roan Mountain Christmas in the Village Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 6 p.m.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet at First Baptist Church, 212 East F St., Elizabethton. Weigh-in begins at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., will hold its traditional Christmas meal at 4 p.m. On the menu will be turkey, ham, mashed potatoes/gravy, dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans, slaw, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, dinner rolls and a large assortment of homemade desserts. Music will be provided by “Dan and Kitty Surber” and The State Line Band from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Come early and enjoy a great evening with friends at Boozy Creek!
