To the Editor:
Thanks to Mr. Alexander for his criticism of my Letter to the Editor. He didn’t like my pessimistic and negative assessment of America’s future. I said the red wave you were expecting is actually fire and brimstone coming down out of heaven in judgment. I got this statement from Pastor Geoffrey Grider at www.nowtheendbegins.com. I agree with him, judgment is coming on America and it will be destroyed probably within two years. As a matter of fact, fire and brimstone has already started in America in the state of Hawaii.
The Bible says eclipses are for signs and have been seen as warnings from God. An eclipse went across America on August 21, 2017, and will go across again in 2024 in the opposite direction making an X across America. As the Bible says in Psalm 37 that is the righteous talk of judgment. America is more evil than any time in its history with abortion and homosexual marriage approved and even celebrated by the majority.
Dr. John McTernan has said judgment is coming to America. Also see website www.defendproclaimthefaith.org. Also, the homosexual party, “Southern Decadence,” was happening in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005 and also seven years later on the same day when Hurricane Isaac in 2012 hit New Orleans again when they had the same homosexual party. I believe New Orleans has also had the most problems with oil spills because they celebrate and encourage homosexual behavior.
I remember years ago the New York courts approved (gay) same-sex marriage and the governor and mayor of New York asked people to celebrate. Seven days later Hurricane Sandy did record damage to New York. I believe God allowed Roe v. Wade to be overturned so that He can judge each state for their treatment of the unborn.
God is working to fulfill his His Prophetic plan for Israel and the second coming of Jesus to rule the Earth after the seven-year tribulation. The seven-year tribulation which is the worse time in history is coming soon. It’s when God shakes terribly the earth and humbles men.
You can disagree with my political views and go to heaven. You can’t disagree with Jesus who said I am the only way to the Father and Heaven. Jesus is the only hope for America and for each of us. Faith in Jesus and what Jesus accomplished on your behalf is the only thing that will save you from what’s coming. You are not promised tomorrow. Admit you are a sinner and need Jesus the Savior. Believe Jesus died for your sins and rose again. Call on or pray to Jesus to save you. Jesus is mighty to save!
The prophet Nahum shows up in Nineveh about 150 years after Jonah to tell the nation that God isn’t going to give them the chance to repent this time but His wrath is going to come upon them. Because in Nahum1:11 we read the people had begun to “plot evil against the Lord.” Rejecting God is one thing; plotting evil against him is the tipping point for national judgment. Many believe America is at the tipping point and is plotting evil against God. Nahum 1:2-4: God is jealous, and the Lord revenges; the Lord revenges and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.
The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet, He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and dries up rivers…” From this we can see God controls whirlwind and dries up rivers. Some parts of the Mississippi River are at record low levels due to drought and that causes supply chain concerns because a lot of commercial traffic could be stopped or delayed. Many rivers all over the world are at record low level.
Christians must occupy till the Lord Jesus returns. Duty is ours, the results belong to God. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5, “knowing the terror of the Lord God we persuade men.” Our faithful fulfilling of the Great Commission is our standard for success as Christians, not our popularity on social media, the balance of our bank accounts, the house we live in or the cars we drive.
George Mason, the father of the Bill of Rights, speaking at the Constitutional Convention declared: “As nations cannot be rewarded or punished in the next world, so they must be in this. By an inevitable chain of causes and effects, Providence (God) punishes national sins by national calamities.”
