The East Tennessee Ballet Academy will present “The Nutcracker Suite” the weekend of Dec. 17 and 18 at the Bonnie Kate Theater in downtown Elizabethton.
The presentations Dec. 17 will be at 2 and 7 p.m. and Dec. 18 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the door.
A holiday favorite, “The Nutcracker — Land of the Sweets” follows young Clara’s Christmas Eve excitement as her uncle, Herr Drosselmeyer, presents a very special Nutcracker doll. Follow Clara’s adventure in the battle between her beloved Nutcracker and the Rat Queen and her magical journey through the “Land of Snow.” Arriving at the “Land of the Sweets,” Clara is welcomed by the Sugar Plum Fairy and entertained by dancers from around the world. “The Nutcracker Suite — Land of the Sweets,” is a delightful production for the whole family and perfect for all ages.
