Donations may be made online at https://isaiah117house.com/donate or by check to: P.O. Box 842, Elizabethton, TN 37644. Members of Sycamore Chapter #163, Order of the Eastern Star, have donated several blankets and throws to the Carter County Isaiah 117 House.
The Order of the Eastern Star is an organization similar to the Masons. Both work in concert and many men belong to both groups. Matthew 2:2 is the guiding verse of the OES: “We have seen his star in the East and are come to worship Him.”
The OES promotes moral values and personal goodness; building an Order which is truly dedicated to charity, truth and loving kindness.
The Isaiah House is just one of the many projects of the Sycamore Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
The ladies who delivered the blankets and throws to the Isaiah House this past week give all the credit to their local chapter and the Worthy Grand Matron of the OES in Tennessee, Mrs. Linda Edens.
Pat Mick is the Worthy Grand Matron of the Sycamore Chapter, and the Isaiah House is one of several local projects of the Sycamore Chapter. Several ladies worked on the donated throws and blankets.
