Christmas came a little early for Elizabethton Electric General Manager Brandon Shell as the electric system released a new updated application on Wednesday to help customers stay on top of daily electric costs and much more.
“I have been waiting a long time to get this new app released because it is going to be so much more beneficial for our customers,” Shell said.
Not only will customers be able to track their daily electricity consumption and costs associated with it, they will also be able to sign up for auto-pay so they won’t have to worry about missing their payment date as well as review their statements and contact the utility through the app.
For those who have already signed up, those customers will have to download the new app and register again as their old app will not work for the auto-pay function which is a very secure system according to Shell.
All Elizabethton Electric customers will be receiving a piece of mail from Shell explaining in detail more information about the app.
Users can download the app from their Apple or Android app stores.
