Keenburg Builders sponsor drive to provide supplies for Humane Society

The Keenburg Builders Club recently sponsored a school-wide Winter Charity Drive. The Club partnered with The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society in an effort to collect much needed supplies for the Humane Societies food pantry. These supplies will be made available for elderly or low income pet owners that need assistance caring for their pets. The students at Keenburg brought in hundreds of pounds of cat and dog food as well as toys and treats for the food pantry. The Builders Club then hand delivered the items to The Humane Society where they were treated to a tour of their animal rescue facility. The Keenburg Builders Club plans to continue their volunteering efforts with The Appalachian Humane Society in the spring. Julie Wilcox and Lyndsey are club sponsors.
