Harvest Baptist
Jeffrey D. Wilson is the new pastor at Harvest Baptist Church, 309 East F St. He has been preaching for the past 15 years and was previously a bi-vocational pastor for approximately seven years before becoming involved in mission work in the Philippines. It was then that he and his wife, Michelle, a family nurse practitioner, founded Partners with the Philippines which is a help-ministry to Filipino pastors and churches, helping with financial needs, resources, and construction materials.
Pastor Jeff is also a registered nurse, and he and his wife help fund the Good Samaritan Baptist Clinic in the Philippines. They also participate in medical missions in conjunction with Filipino medical professionals.
The public is invited to attend services at Harvest Baptist which include Sunday School at 11 a.m.; morning worship at 11 a.m.; Sunday evening worship at 5 p.m.; and Wednesday Bible study at 7 p.m.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have both an in-person and online service Sunday at morning worship, which begins at 11 a.m.
Scripture reading this Sunday will be Mark 3: 13-19 with a sermon to follow by the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, titled “Community Work.”
