Three area students have made the Dean’s List at Carson-Newman University for the fall 2022 semester.
The university awards Dean’s List honors earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while taking 12 or more credit hours.
Among area students making the Dean”s List were Shannon Wohlford of Elizabethton; Cortlyn Keith of Laurel Bloomery; and Caitlin Darling of Roan Mountain.
Founded in 1851, Carson-Newman is a Christ-centered, liberal arts-based university affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention. The university proudly proclaims it helps students find their Place, Path and Purpose. Located in Jefferson City, among the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Carson-Newman offers 50 undergraduate majors, as well as associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
