The Carter Country Democratic Women’s Club will meet Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Black Olive.
The business meeting will begin at 6 p.m. but for those who wish to eat, please come early. Club leadership is calling all democrats to join the organization and help present informational programs of interest to the community. The club is a support group for the Carter County Democratic Party.
Tuesday’s meeting is open to regular members, men included, and to anyone, who, pledging allegiance to Democratic principles, wishes to become a member. New members are invited to join so “we can get busy shoring up our county, state and country with support for truth, justice and the American way,” said Janet Hyder, president.
