Roan Street Free Will
The Rev. Aaron Hughes from Buladean, N.C., will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. service at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church.
The pastor, the Rev. Donnie Harris, invites the public to attend.
The church is located at 820 N. Roan St., in the Blackbottom community.

New Liberty Free Will
Alicia Mick will be baptized during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
The pastor, the Rev. Wesley Duncan, invites all her family and friends to attend in support of this very special day for Alicia and her family.
New Liberty Free Will is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.

First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will continue the series “12 Extraordinary Women” by John MacArthur on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m.
First Christian has services at 9:45 a.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Also, First Christian has a food pantry. Persons who need a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

Hopwood Christian
“A Whale of A Tale, the Musical Story of Jonah” will be presented at a musical dinner theater at Hopwood Christian Church Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17 and 18.
The church will host a fish dinner followed by the musical play in the church’s fellowship hall. Admission is $20 per person ($15 for children), and includes a dinner and the musical.
Admission will be collected at the door on the night of the show. The performance is a fundraiser for the Hopwood Christian Church building debt.
The play was written by John Thomas Oaks and is produced by Marcia Ross.
Seating is limited. Reserve your seat online or by calling the church office at 926-1194. Online reservations can be made at Karen@Hopwoodcc.org
Hopwood Christian is located at the entrance to Milligan College.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., Elizabethton, will have both an in-person and online service at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Scripture reading this Sunday is from Ecclesiastes 5: 1-3, followed by a sermon titled “A Path Toward God” by the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt.
Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m.; Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The public is invited.
