The Carter Country Democratic Women’s Club will meet Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m. at the Black Olive in Elizabethton.
The guest speaker will be Serena Miller who will speak regarding food insecurities in our area.
“We are continuing welcoming Democrats who wish to join our group, ladies as regular members and gentlemen as auxiliary members. Our group is open to all adults who care about the country in which we live. We have been in contact with many democratic organizations across Tennessee, as well as several across our country and look forward to new democratic fellowships as we work to preserve our country and keep its freedoms strong,” said Janet Hyder, president.
Those who wish to eat and enjoy the camaraderie are asked to come early.
