Grace Baptist
Due to current sickness in the church, Grace Baptist Church has re-scheduled its chili cook-off for Sunday, Mar. 19, after the combined worship service at 10 a.m.
Women and men are encouraged to make and submit chili, dessert or both.
Sunday School is at 9 a.m.
There will be no evening service.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have both an in-person and online service Sunday, Mar. 5, at 11 a.m.
Scripture reading for this Sunday is from Luke 10: 25-37, followed by a sermon from the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, titled “Better Stories.’”
Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
The public is invited.
First Christian
First Christian Church has worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Sunday, the message will be presented by Richard Thompson.
Bible study is Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday, Mar. 4, at 8 a.m. in the fellowship hall.
First Christian has a food pantry. If you need a food box, call the church office to make an appointment. The phone number is 542-5651.

Watauga Valley Free Will
Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church will have a spaghetti dinner Friday, Mar. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. The meal, which will cost $7, will include spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert, and drink.
Funds will be used to support the youth of the church.
The church is located at 106 Watauga Valley Church Road in Hunter.
Everyone is invited.
Southside Free Will
Shannon Sims and Lee Cash of Crossroad Church in Greeneville, will sing Sunday, Mar. 5, at 6 p.m. at Southside Free Will Baptist Church.
The church is located at 224 Jack Bradley Road.
