Thanks to the Elizabethton Star for printing what our Tennessee state lawmakers are doing in Nashville. I disagree with the bill to stop putting notices in local newspapers for foreclosures. If they want to also put it on one state website they need to do both. Local newspaper advertisements give more time and is fairer to the homeowner losing his home. Sounds like they don’t want the local family or friends to help the homeowner or try to keep the home and land in the family. The homeowner isn’t the only one effected if they lose their home. The people living with them or renting from them also lose their home and need to be made aware of their coming homelessness.
It was also great to see in the Elizabethton Star that our State Rep. John Holsclaw said, “Ban on taxpayer funded transgender surgery may become law.” I support banning taxpayer-funded transgender surgery. I believe 95 percent would support banning taxpayer-funded transgender surgery if they correctly understood transgenderism. Christianheadlines.com said a poll found 63 percent of Christians “say that whether someone is a man or a woman is determined by their sex at birth.” Thirty-nine percent of Christians said society had gone too far in accepting and encouraging transgender people. I agree society and the media have gone too far when they are encouraging parents to let their children decide what gender they are. Even worse in California and some other states teachers are encouraging students to change their gender against the wishes of their parents.
The media ran by globalists encourage transgenderism to lower the population because those having transgender surgery and take transgender drugs will never be able to have children and some have become blind as a side effect. The evil U.S. has been labeled the worst country in the world for pushing extreme gender ideology and sex change surgeries on youth! American publishing experts are now alarmed at picture books pushing transgender ideas on children as young as three years old. Some new evil books grooming children to become transgender are, “Bye Bye Binary” and “Payden’s Pronoun Party.”
The American College of Pediatricians said the move to indoctrinate children with the idea they can pick their gender amounts to child abuse. They are urging legislators and educators to reject all policies that would condition children to accept chemical and surgical distortions allowing people to impersonate the opposite sex. According to World Magazine a growing number of teens are identifying as transgender or unsure about (their) gender identity. Studies in the past have found less than 1 percent of teens identify as transgender. A study published in the journal Pediatrics, found 3 percent of teens said they were transgender or unsure about (their) gender identity. Dr. Michelle Cretella, the president of the American College of Pediatricians, is concerned. Dr. Cretella said, “From social learning theory we know that sudden exponential increase in transgender belief among adolescents across the U.S. and Europe is due to the ongoing mass marketing of transgenderism to youth in these countries.” Studies have established that teens who identify as transgender have an increased risk of mental health problems such as depression, self-harm, eating disorders and suicide. Some wrongly blame these problems on nonacceptance. Dr. Cretella said a study found transgender people in Sweden, where there is wide acceptance of transgenders, still have a suicide rate 19 times that of the general population. Dr. Cretella said, “Make no mistake, the marketing of transgender delusion to youth will go down in history as one of the gravest crimes committed against children.”
Transgender expert Dr. Paul McHugh, the former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital said, “Transgenderism is a mental disorder that merits treatment and sex change is biologically impossible.” Dr. McHugh is author of six books and reported the suicide rate among transgendered people who had sex change surgery is 20 times higher than the suicide rate among non-transgendered people. This high rate of suicide showed no surgery will solve their problems. Dr. McHugh said people who encourage sex change surgery are promoting a mental disorder. About 40 percent of those wanting to change gender have autism. To push and groom those with autism to desire to change their gender is abuse of those with autism.
Dr. McHugh is correct in saying sex change is biologically impossible. No matter how you feel, no matter how much surgery you have, no matter how many hormones you take, you can never change the biological fact that every single cell in your entire body is branded XX or XY. The XX and XY chromosomes are a biological fact. Anorexics say they’re fat when they’re objectively not, and they’re correctly called “mentally ill” and are given needed counseling and therapy. Transgenders say they’re male or female when they’re objectively not and are called brave and celebrated by Hollywood, and the liberalb (left) media. Jesus would want us to tell transgenders he loves them and wants them to be who God created them to be at birth. The Bible says dress in the way that reflects who God made us in Deuteronomy 22.
The Bible says God isn’t the author of confusion. Satan’s agenda is to cause confusion/chaos so nothing makes real sense anymore. One of the curses God allows on evil countries like America is madness/insanity according to Deuteronomy 28:28. We are seeing this as there are so many with mental problems that Woodridge in Johnson City is often full.
In Romans 1 it declares a nation that rejects God over and over will become vain, useless, futile or foolish in their thinking. Despite claiming to be so wise and so smart the nation will become so foolish in their thinking they will accept spiritual deception and accept spiritual lies and false teaching. Feelings aren’t dependable. Being born again (born from above) would solve everyone’s identity problem or crisis. Transgenders say they were born with feelings they are the wrong gender. The good news is Jesus loves them and they can be born again and become God’s child. Transgenders are looking for love in all the wrong genders. Those looking for love from Jesus will find it.
Christians get their identity and worth from Jesus not feelings or social media. Social media wrongly says there are 73 or more genders. One pastor said people need to stop wasting their time on Facebook and keep their face in the book (Bible). The end result often of transgenders trusting their feelings is suffering, insanity and death by suicide. The end result of living by faith in Jesus and turning from sin and self always is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control and eternal life!
