Three days after a person killed three children and three adults at a Christian school in Nashville an anti-gun riot and protest broke out inside the Tennessee Capitol. Hundreds of Nashville High School students pushed their way through the Capitol gallery toward the Tennessee House of Representatives chamber. The high school students demanded gun bans.
Tennessee State Troopers, who guard the Tennessee Capitol, managed to keep the rioters from breaking into the chamber, which is home to the offices of state lawmakers. The riot was led and encouraged in part by three far-left Tennessee lawmakers, State Rep. Justin Jones, Justin Pierson and Gloria Johnson. There were no arrests made, however, the 99 house members of the House of representatives can and should vote to remove the three representatives by a two-thirds vote from being state representatives! If they remove the three then some good will have come from the riots.
Because of the mass shootings President Biden said we need more gun control. President Biden wants to make buying guns harder. I have no problem with raising the age requirement to sell guns to 20 since most shootings have been done by teenagers. Americans have over 325 million guns, which is more than any country in the world. Bad men will always be able to get guns on the black market. All gun bans do is disarm good people in a useless attempt to keep bad men from getting guns. We need more good people carrying guns. Philosopher John Stuart said, “Bad men need nothing more to compass (accomplish) their ends then that good men should look on and do nothing.” Because of school shootings and schools teaching things against Christianity more parents are homeschooling which can guarantee a safe environment for their kids.
During mass shooting events in the U.S. the average number of deaths when police end the mass shooting is 14.3 dead. The average number of dead when a private citizen with a gun ends the mass shooting is 2.3 dead. If you have to wait for police, six times more die in the mass shooting. At a shooting at the West Freeway Church of Christ in Texas a madman pulled out a shotgun and started shooting. An armed church member terminated the threat in less than ten seconds. Police officers from federal to local levels kill an average of 606 criminals per year. Private citizens using firearms in self-defense kill 1,527. Thousands of women in the U.S. each year use a firearm to defend themselves from sexual assault. Despite having some of the most restrictive firearm laws in the world the United Kingdom has a violent crime rate that is more than four times that of the U.S. Most of the major media demonize guns, gun owners and police.
Senator Kennedy tells “cop-haters” to call a crackhead the next time you have an emergency. There has never been a shooting at a gun show or rodeo where they know there will be a lot of people armed. The September 11 terrorist attacks were done completely without the use of guns and show that getting rid of one object they can use for violence only sends them looking for another. We didn’t have people after the 9-11 attack asking for bans on knifes. Terrorists have run over people with their truck but people don’t demand bans on trucks. Terrorists have plans to hijack school buses full of children. There are a record number of evil people, criminals and mentally ill people out there. Other countries are sending their criminals and mentally ill to our open borders. Psychiatrist Dr. Mark McDonald said, transgenderism is a mental illness and the murders at the Nashville Christian School should surprise no one. The most important thing is to make sure your children know Jesus as their Savior.
The Bible says God rejected Cain’s sacrifice. Cain decided to kill his brother instead of repenting and getting right with God. We’re not told what Cain used to kill his brother. It was unimportant. The evil in Cain’s heart was the cause of the murder, not the availability of the murder weapon. Weapons don’t make decisions. In Luke 22:35-38 Jesus commanded His disciples just before he left them to die on the cross to buy weapons. They said they got two weapons and Jesus said that’s enough. Therefore every church should have at the least two Christians armed with weapons in their church at all times. Nikolas Cruz waited until the easily identifiable School Resource Officer (SRO) stepped outside then murdered 14 children and three teachers. Schools should have a School Resource Officer at every school but far better is to permit trained teachers, bus drivers and school staff to carry concealed weapons to protect our most precious commodity, our children!
