Janice D. Colbaugh, 75, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born September 28, 1947 in Newport, N.H., to the late Cecil and Jean Barton Dodge. She had lived in Elizabethton since 1992.
Janice was a CPA at Raquel McKinney CPA, PC for many years. In earlier years she was employed at Harris-Tarkett. She attended the Elizabethton Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J.C. Colbaugh; a daughter, Tanya Dykes; a step-son, Richard Colbaugh; and a brother, Dana Dodge.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Karen Cummings, Manchester, N.H.; a step-son, John Colbaugh and wife Tina, Elizabethton; a step-daughter, Julia Thornton and husband Matt of Georgia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and a special sister-in-law, Delores Lyons, Elizabethton.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Todd Houston, minister, officiating.
