On May 5, the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce will welcome legislative members and community members to its annual Carter County Legislative Breakfast.
The event is an opportunity for community members to enjoy breakfast, catered by The Coffee Company, and hear from elected officials, who have been invited to provide updates on key issues they have been working on and what their goals are for the future.
The 2023 Carter County Legislative Breakfast is presented by Tennessee College of Applied Technology, International Paper and Snap-on Tools.
“We welcome our community to join us for our annual legislative breakfast on May 5,” said the chamber’s executive director, Joy McCray. “This is a great opportunity to have your voice be heard about your concerns to our legislators and to learn about what updates each office may have for our community.
“Thank you to our friends at TCAT for their continued sponsorship in hosting this event, as well as our presenting sponsors, International Paper and Snap-on Tools.”
Local officials, state legislators and federal representatives have been invited to take part in the event. Those running for a local office in Carter County will have the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves.
The event will take place at Elizabethton’s TCAT campus at 426 TN-9. Doors will open and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 8 a.m.
Table sponsors receive reserved seating as well as a logo displayed at their table and on-screen during the program.
Purchase tickets at https://2023legislativebkfst.eventbrite.com or at the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce at 615 East Elk Ave. For more information, contact the chamber at (423) 547-3850.
