First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have Sunday worship at 9:45 a.m. A new series titled “On Purpose,” following Mike Baker’s book, will begin.
Bible study is at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office to make an appointment at 542-5651.
First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Ave.

Milligan Free Will
Milligan Free Will Baptist Church, 1471 Milligan Highway, will have special singing Sunday at 11 a.m.
Featured will be the Edwards Family from Burnsville, N.C.
Everyone is invited to attend.

Zion Baptist
Multi-award winning Southern Gospel artists Jeff and Sherri Easter will present special singing Sunday, April 23, at 6 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church. There is no admission charge for this service.
Everyone is invited. Dr. D. Alan King is pastor.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an in-person and online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.
Myra Elder will present a guest sermon titled “Fried Chicken and Pronouns,” following a selection of poems.
Meditation is Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 West F St.
The Rev. Dr. Bryan Wyatt is pastor.

JesusFest ’23
A new kind of festival will take place April 29 and 30 at the Covered Bridge Park in Elizabethton. The two-day free event will feature live music, uplifting worship services and Bible teachers with the redeeming message of Jesus Christ.
In addition to worship, music and guest speakers, there will be food, fun, a bounce house, children’s activities, a prayer tent, Bible give-away, a blessing of the bikes, and testimonies.
Activities Saturday will be from 1 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., which will include a church service.
Those attending are asked to being a lawn chair.

Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church, 113 Avon St., will have its monthly food pantry Wednesday, April 26, at 6 p.m.
Those in need of food are invited to attend.
