Carter County Schools is pleased to announce Kayla Clawson as the principal of Hampton High School for the 2023-2024 school year.
Ms. Clawson is currently serving as the principal of Keenburg Elementary. She previously taught at Science Hill and Unaka High School. Ms. Clawson’s educational background includes a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from Milligan University, a master’s in secondary education from ETSU and an educational specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University. She brings many years of experience in both nursing and education and is looking forward to serving the students of HHS and the community.
