It’s baseball time in East Tennessee, and there is a unique camp headed to our area!
Camper and volunteer registration is now open for the first ever Dream Team Adapted Sports: Baseball Camp! Organizers hope to bring the love of baseball to kids that may not have an opportunity to play during the regular season due to a health condition, physical disability, or other impairment.
This free adapted camp will take place on Saturday, June 3, at Northeast Community Credit Union Ballpark (804 Holly Ln. Elizabethton, TN) from 5:00-7:00 pm and is hosted by Sidekick Therapy Partners, Witten Huddle, Betsy Baseball, and the River Riders.
Organizers are excited to bring high school and college athletes, area baseball and softball coaches, and students with diverse abilities together for a day of fun with a variety of adapted baseball training stations designed to meet the needs of all campers.
The first 100 campers will receive a free baseball jersey. All campers will receive two free home game tickets to watch the River Riders as they kick off their first season in Elizabethton.
This free baseball camp is for any 4th grade-high school students with diverse abilities that cannot participate in regular season sports due to a health condition, physical disability, or other impairment. Organizers ask that a parent/guardian remain on site for the entirety of the camp.
Campers can register for FREE at:
