The Pahuno Toad Quintet will perform Tuesday, May 23, at 7:30 p.m. at the Bonnie Kate Theatre in Elizabethton.
The jazz quintet featuring Tom Peterson and the area’s young lions will perform until 9 p.m, then there is an open jazz jazz from 9 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 online or at the door. No cover after 9 p.m. for the jam.
Members of the jazz quintet include Tom Peterson, saxophone; Parker Lewis, trumpet and flugelhorn; Noah Wise, guitar; Hunter Sparks, bass; and Adrian Nunez, drums.
Coming up May 30 at the Bonnie Kate is the Jonesborough Rhythm Express, an energetic big band from Jonesborough featuring some of the area’s finest, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 online or at the door.
