Your children are in safe hands! The summer program at the Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County begins on June 5. Shelly Parham, CEO, said, “It is so exciting that we are at full capacity for the first time since COVID.”

Our educated Youth Development Professionals provide guidance and role modeling to members. As a whole our YDP’s have over 15 years’ experience in the childcare industry, are college graduates and some are pursuing their master’s degree in education and social work.

Youth Development Professionals focus on maintaining a safe, positive atmosphere for all youth. They are caring men and women who create academic success by increasing reading scores, exploring science, creating art, and maintaining healthy habits for club kids. Most importantly, Youth Development Professionals impart positive values that children and teens take with them into their communities and their futures.
