On June 3, 2023, Darlene Brooks, Elizabethton, left this life to join her brother Duane and other family in heaven. She was born on January 28, 1964 in Wellsboro, Pa.
Darlene was a kind and caring person, an excellent cook and baker, and she loved to share food with others.
She is survived by her husband, David Brooks, and her mother, Anne Parker, both of Elizabethton; a brother, Terry Parker of Tucson, Ariz.; as well as very caring aunts and uncles, Mary, Catherine, Paul (New York), Pauline, Patricia and Susan (Pennsylvania), and Steve (Florida); and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by aunts and uncles, Fran, Rose, Eva, John, Adam and Michael.
