Goldberg sworn in as newest police officer

CITY OF ELIZABETHTON PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER
The Elizabethton Police Department grew by one officer on Monday morning as Matthew Goldberg was officially sworn in as a City officer.
Goldberg took one of the recent tests administered by the department and will be entering the position as an entry-level officer.
City Clerk Preston Cobb performed the swearing in the City Council chambers.
The department continues to seek more applicants to fill open vacancies.
