To the Editor:
There is no doubt that culture has changed in America in a short time. The question of what relationship we have with God’s son Jesus Christ. It’s our accepting to turn from our sins, and by faith accepting Jesus Christ. Malachi 3:26, “I am the Lord, I do not change.”
God’s character, His ways, never change regardless of how the winds of culture may be blowing. Heb. 13 says “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Billy Graham once said, “The problem in America is the want of everything except the Spirit of God.” Today changes with a changing world. It’s one that can be answered with the Bible. The Bible says, “God doesn’t change. He’s the same yesterday and tomorrow.” Drugs and violence of every kind have swept over our nation that could never have been imagined. Hostility toward Christianity, education, separated from a Holy God. The times may have changed, but God never does.
The Bible teaches us the only way to Heaven is to have faith in the sacrifice of Jesus. The times may be changing but we can be thankful God never changes.
