Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have special singing on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18, at 11 a.m. by Joel Crisp.
The pastor, the Rev. Donnie Harris, invites everyone to attend.
There will be no evening service Sunday.
Elk River Baptist
Homecoming will be held Sunday, July 23, at Elk River Baptist Church, Highway 321. The service will begin at 10 a.m. with lunch to follow.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an in-person and online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Brian Wyatt, will present a sermon from Gen. 2: 1-3 titled “Sabbath Practice.”
Meditation will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is held each Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

CCCMF meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at West Side Christian Church.
Chuck Emmert, retired minister who attends First Christian Church, Johnson City, will be the guest speaker.
All men are invited.
First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Bible study is at 6 p.m. Wednesday. All are invited.
The Men’s Breakfast will be at 8 a.m. July 1.
Also, First Christian has a food pantry. Persons who need a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.
First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Ave.
First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church, Elizabethton, will have Vacation Bible School, beginning Thursday, June 15, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Classes will be held through June 17, closing June 18, at 10:45 a.m.
There will be classes for children age four through fifth grade.
The theme of the Bible school is “Stellar: Shine Jesus’ Light.”

First United Methodist
First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, will have Vacation Bible School June 19-23. The theme of the Bible School is “Meet Me By the Sea of Galilee,” which will feature stories of fishermen, shipwrecks, walking on water, and more.
Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and will feature a kid-friendly meal at 5:30 p.m. There will also be stories, music, crafts, and games.
Friday will be Family night, full of friends, fellowship, fun and food at 6 p.m.
The VBS mission challenge is to collect non-perishable food items for the community’s Little Food Pantry.
Church of Jesus
Bro. Harold Lamb will be at the Church of Jesus, Johnson City, June 22-29 with services each evening at 7 o’clock.
